Our guest workshop leaders from Puppet State Theatre Company of Scotland will offer expert tips on making your puppet come to life with movement, stillness and voice. All materials are provided, so bring your imagination and craftiness! Immediately following the workshop is a multi-sensory theatrical adaptation of Jean Giono’s The Man Who Planted Trees, which tells the inspiring story of a shepherd who plants a forest, acorn by acorn, transforming a barren wasteland. As much a touching tale as it is a hilarious puppet show, this environmental classic shows us the difference one man (and his dog!) can make in the world. (from )
