In the fall of 2003, nine women came together to buy and renovate a building and start a business, which opened on May 1, 2004. Now we are getting ready to celebrate the ninth anniversary of opening the gallery/shop selling the work of local artists and artisans. Then we had 43 artists; now we have 110, all living within about 125 miles of Eastport. Join us as we commemorate this anniversary with music, refreshments and the bestowing of the Common Good Awards to people who are working to strengthen and enhance the community. 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. on Saturday, May 4, 2013.
