Clean Language and Symbolic Modeling are counseling and coaching techniques that enable your clients to interact with inner metaphors and get to know themselves at a profound level. Finding out what really keeps your client "stuck" or gets his/her energy "flowing" (hear the metaphors?) can be the catalyst for dramatic change. Based on the work of David Grove.

Basics Part One: Facilitating Clarity introduces the first 9 Clean Language questions used with everyday information or metaphors, starting with the fundamental one that guides all sessions, "And what would you like to have happen?” You’ll learn a systematic questioning process that brings clarity to any issue or idea. We’ll practice with verbal, drawing and space-related approaches so you can determine your preferred way of working with a variety of individuals and/or groups.
You'll have plenty of opportunity to be both facilitator and client to practice your skills and learn experientially.
