2020 Maine Sustainability & Water Conference

The Maine Sustainability & Water Conference provides an annual forum where professionals,
researchers, consultants, citizens, students, regulators, and planners gather to exchange
information and present new findings on sustainability and water resource issues in Maine.
This year’s conference covers issues related to climate change, renewable energy, fish passage,
contaminants such as PFAS and arsenic, citizen science, risk communication, and much more.
The keynote address, “10,000 Years of Sustainability” will be given by John Banks, Natural
Resources Director for the Penobscot Nation. (from )
