Women in Blue
from Centenary CollegeThe “Women in Blue” series will run at Centenary College on two upcoming Wednesday evenings beginning on September 17th in the David and Carol Lackland Center. Detective Sergeant Toni Latario from the Special Victims unit in Warren County will be speaking about her extensive career in the field of criminal justice. Detective Latario is a seasoned investigator and advocate for vitims of child abuse ans sexual assault. She mentors and motivates “women in blue” to achieve their career goals in law enforcement.
On October 1st, Donna Hernandez, former Police Captain, will also visit Centenary College to speak to the public. Hernandez has served 28 years in New Jersey law enforcement working in the Patrol Division of both the Essex County and Caldwell Police Departments. She will be speaking on her personal experience with domestic violence, as well as discussing pieces of her docu-memoir.
