Voices in the Mirror
from The Theater ProjectDo you REALLY want to know what your teen is thinking? When it comes to "Voices in the Mirror", The Theater Project promises you do. The Theater Project presents the 19th annual production of "Voices in the Mirror" on Friday, May 29 and Saturday, May 30 at 7:30 pm, and Sunday, May 31 at 2:00 pm, directed by Wendy Poole and created entirely by 30 high school students.
Part sketch comedy, part sarcastic observation, plenty of pop culture references and surprisingly more insight into serious issues than you'd expect, "Voices in the Mirror" is raw teenage expression in an orderly fashion at an utterly ridiculous level. Some call it Saturday Night Live by teens, some just call it the funniest thing they've seen all year. Whether it's school stress, relationship anxiety, annoying parents or weird friends, the kids of "Voices" have an opinion on it, and it's a good one.
If you've never seen the show (and it's different every year), get your tickets now and find out why Voices is back for the 19th year in a row.
VOICES IN THE MIRROR is recommended for audiences age 14 and up, due to occasional adult language and subject matter. Tickets are Pay-What-You-Want with a suggested price of $12, but really, pay what you want! Tickets are available at 729-8584 or online at www.theaterproject.com. The Theater Project is located at 14 School Street in Brunswick. (from )
