In conjunction with Veterans Day, the Sports Management AFC class and the Phi Alpha Honor Society for Social Work at Centenary College are teaming up with Operation Chillout to host a 3K Run/Walk at 11 a.m. on November 8, 2014 near the David and Carol Lackland Center parking lot. Registration will begin at 10 a.m.; Children, students and veterans will pay $5 or $3 when they register prior to the event. Adults pay $8 or $5 when they register prior to the event. Proceeds will benefit homeless veterans. (from )
