Trekkers Annual Auction

from Jennifer Brooks

Trekkers’ 9th Annual Auction will take place on Saturday, October 26 at the Owls Head Transportation Museum. Doors will open at 5:00pm. The silent auction bidding will take place from 5:00-700pm. The live auction bidding, with auctioneer Bruce Gamage, begins at 7:00pm. Hundreds of items will be up for bid, from gift certificates to local stores to unique travel experiences. There is a $10 admission at the door, which includes soft drinks, coffee, hors d’oeuvres and sweets.
This event is made possible through the very generous support of the lead sponsor: Fuller Chevrolet. The plow sponsor is Fisher Engineering, with a donation of a Fisher HT series 7 ½’ HT Straight Blade plow, valued at $5827. The HT Series™ snow plow was specifically designed for a half-ton 4-wheel drive pickup truck and engineered with all the features that make FISHER® snow plows the choice of the pros. The winning bid for the plow includes the cost of the mounts, controller and harness kit; cost of installation is not included.
You will be able to bid for adventure and bid for fun as the auction will include two South Africa Photo Safaris, artwork, several island getaways, services, jewelry, outdoor items and experiences, gift certificates for lodging, fitness and restaurants, and more to get your holiday shopping off to a great start. Absentee bids will be available on the Fisher® Plow and South Africa Photo Safaris (absentee bid form is posted online).
