Spindleworks Spring Fling Fundraiser

from Brian Braley

Its not too soon to think about Spring, and during a winter like we are having, it’s in fact a great thing to think about. Spindleworks will be celebrating with a Spring Fling Fundraiser! Eileen and Jim Hornor, owners of The Brunswick Inn, invite you for an evening of music, food, drink and celebration in support of Spindleworks on March 20th, the spring equinox. The Brunswick Inn will be transformed into a walk through the ages of the well known art center’s history, with artwork, photos and ephemera spanning back to the mid seventies when the doors first opened. “The Leopard Girls” featuring Hal Ahlers, Ben Hunsberger, Gary Lawless, Chris Simpson and Scott Woodruff, will provide the soundtrack to this time warp evening. The ticket price will also include appetizers provided by the Inn, one free drink (from the cash bar), door prizes, and more. We will have surprises in store as well, so this will be a not-to-miss evening! Tickets will be limited to the first 100 people.

Tickets are$45 per person, or $100 ticket includes a piece of original art; $80 per couple, or $135 ticket includes a piece of original art.
Tickets are available by contacting Liz McGhee at 725-8820, or online @ www.spindleworks.org

The fundraiser comes at a crucial time for Spindleworks as the state considers is a system redesign which, through a reallocation of funds would reduce revenue to the program. (from )
