“Southern Westchester Food & Wine Festival” -- September 19-21 2014
The annual “Southern Westchester Food & Wine Festival” (SOWE) will take place September 19-21 2014. The festival will feature cooking demonstrations, competitions by celebrity chefs, BBQ, food trucks, concerts, book signings, a kid’s zone and participation by more than 100 restaurants, caterers, wine merchants, cheese mongers, and specialty culinary providers. The festival is a community event and it will help raise money for numerous local goodwill organizations.
The weekend’s events will include:
-Friday, Sept 19, 2014: Chef Battle Kickoff at Pepe Infiniti (300 Central Avenue) in White Plains, New York (7-10pm)
-Saturday, Sept 20, 2014: Grand Culinary Village, including BBQ/Grilling Plaza, Mrs. Green’s Healthy Eating Pavilion, Food Trucks, Kid’s Zone & Music at Harbor Island Park in Mamaroneck, NY (5-10pm)
-Sunday, Sept 21, 2014: Wilson & Son’s Grand Tasting Village, including Mrs. Green’s Healthy Eating Pavilion, Music and Kid’s Zone in downtown Scarsdale, New York (5-10pm)
