Thurs., Sept. 4 - Build a Better Sandwich, 3 - 5 p.m. Get some great back-to-school lunch bag ideas and tips for how to build a creative, nutritious sandwich at the Dietitian's Corner.

Sat. & Sun., Sept. 6 & 7 - Gluten and Allergy Free Festival, 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. Visit your Inserra in-store dietitian team at the Meadowlands Expo Center, 355 Plaza Dr.,
Secaucus, N.J.

Sat., Sept. 13 - Free Cholesterol Screening, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m. Knowing your numbers is a great first step toward preventing or controlling heart disease, especially since two out of three adults have high cholesterol that puts them at risk for heart disease. Learn some heart-healthy habits too! No appointments necessary.

Sat., Sept. 13 - Toddler Gourmet Cooking Class (ages 2 - 5), 3 - 3:45 p.m. Bring your youngsters to create and try new healthy foods. Attendance at this event requires a parent or guardian and pre-registration is required, due to space limitations.

Mon., Sept. 15 - Go Nuts for Heart Health!, 3 - 5 p.m. Eating a variety of nuts can help your heart. Learn which ones help the most at the Dietitian's Corner.

Wed., Sept. 17 - Build a Better Breakfast, noon - 3 p.m. Learn why breakfast is the most important meal of the day and how to incorporate quick and healthy selections to start the school day on the right foot.

Wed., Sept. 17th - LiveRight with ShopRite! Kids' Cooking Class (ages 6 - 10), 4 - 5 p.m. This make-and-taste cooking class encourages youngsters to create and try simple, healthy snacks. Pre-registration is required.

Thurs., Sept. 18 - Cooking Class, 7 - 9 p.m. Learn to cook right tonight and every night in this month's class, which has an apple menu theme. Items include pork chops with apple relish, tangy apple salad and apple-cherry crisp.

Fri., Sept. 19 - High Fiber Friday: Facts on Flax, noon - 2 p.m. Remain fit and full with flax, a good source of fiber. Stop by the Dietitian's Corner to taste a healthy high-fiber recipe and pick up a recipe card.

Wed., Sept. 24 - Produce Pick, 1 - 3 p.m. This month's produce pick will be the "star" of a new dish prepared by the dietitian.

Fri. Sept 26th - Whole Grain Goodness, noon - 1 p.m. Learn how to incorporate whole grains as half the grains you consume each day.

Tues., Sept. 30 - Heart-Healthy Store Tour & Cooking Class, 6 - 8 p.m. This dietitian-guided tour will highlight heart-healthy in-store products followed by a hands-on cooking demonstration involving all participants. Pre-registration is required. (from )
