Maricopa, Arizona — Maricopa Chamber Commerce Member and Resident Chrystal Allen-O’Jon(http://www.nextgreatdrummer.com/biographies/chrystal-allen-ojon/) brings a First Annual Jazz Music Festival to the city.

The objective of the Jazz Festival is to unify the community, help military families, bring music, fun and entertainment to the COPA all while including local (garage) bands and major recording artists to showcase their talent. Three side-by-side stages will showcase performances one at a time in a seamless syncopation. 
We want to also honor Military Veterans & Their Families by providing Mom’s Helping Hands or JLS onsite to answer questions about Medical Benefits to VETS and their Spouses.  Mom’s Helping Hands is non-profit and donations will be accepted for them on site.

~Drummers from the ages of 17-25 can send in their performance links for performance inclusion Now until February 2014. Winning Performers will be notified and posted on this site. Winning links will be decided by Our Staff, Sponsors, Local AZ Military Recruitment Staff and some Military Veterans.

This music festival will not be successful without the display of local Maricpoa Community and Military Bands. For band performance consideration, please send a performance clip to [email protected].
Vendors, corporate and local sponsors, volunteer students and adult staff are invited to participate. Student letters of recommendation can be requested.
Maricopa Community Music Fest – Needs YOU
Needed: Major Recording Artists, Local Maricopa, AZ Bands, Military Bands (all age groups). Volunteers of all ages needed for:
Ticket Sales Manager, Program Ad Manager, Vendor/Booth Manager, Artist Manager, Stage Manager, Stage Hands, Street Teams, VIP Manager, Transportation Manager, Security Manager,  Kids Play Area Manager, PR Manager. For sales, you will receive 20%, all rest will receive a fee to be determined as well as letters of recommendation.
