This young and dynamic string quartet from Indiana will be presenting a program of Haydn's "Sunrise" Quartet in B-flat, Brahms First String Quartet in c minor, and Gyorgy Ligeti's first string quartet "Metamorphoses Nocturnes." This group of talented women--one of whom is a Lewiston native-- has been making its way up the ranks of professional quartets with performances at the Banff festival and tours in Europe, Asia and Australia based on study and mentoring by the elite music establishment, and they have been impressing audiences with their informed and virtuoso performances of classic and modern chamber music.
