Threatened with death if she marries against her father’s wishes, Hermia elopes with her lover, Lysander, pursued by rival suitor Demetrius and his spurned admirer, Helena. They run into an enchanted forest where fairies hide in fear of feuding fairy royalty. Mayhem ensues when the lovers and a troupe of bumbling actors fall under the spell of mischievous sprites and lunacy reaches its giddy heights. Loosely placed during World War I, as we commemorate its centennial, join us for moonlight, mirth, and magic.
