Yonkers, NY, September 19—Tony Woods(http://www.tonywoods.com/), an original member of Russell Simmons’ Def Comedy Jam on HBO, will have ‘em roaring when he brings laugh-fest to Empire City Casino on September 24th as the award-winning Wednesday Comedy Nights continue.

Headliner Woods will be joined by Nick Cobb (http://nickcobb.com/), the co-featured performer, and the MC for the night Kate Wolff (http://www.katewolff.net/). Doors will open at 7:00 pm and the show will begin at 8:00 pm. Admission is $5 for Empire Club Members and $25 for non-members. Elite Club and President’s Club members gain free admission to the show. All patrons will receive a free drink ticket.

Tony Woods is a one-of-a-kind comedic legend that is always in control of his audience. A seasoned veteran in the comedy business, Tony is recognized not only by fans but by his peers as one of the best and most engaging comedians in the business. Woods kicked off his career as an original member of Russell Simmons' Def Comedy Jam on HBO and P. Diddy's Bad Boys of Comedy. Tony’s recent appearances, such as Comedy Central Presents Tony Woods, Comedy CentralUSO Tour, and Comedy Central World Comedy Tour, have made him a comic favorite of international renown. He has also appeared on Last Comic Standing, A&E’s Caroline’s Comedy Hour, Showtime at the Apollo, NBC’s Friday Night Videos, Just for Laughs, NYPD Blue, HACK, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, HBO Comedy Spot and Australia's - The Footy Show.

Hailing from Memphis, TN, Nick Cobb attended Indiana University where he majored in Psychology and learned to obsess over meaningless nonsense. This led him to work in his first comedy club, aptly named “The Looney Bin.” It was at a tiny Beale Street bar where Nick won a stand-up competition, was bitten by the comedy bug and moved to New York to pursue The Dream. While in New York, Nick was seen on Comedy Central’s Live at Gotham, VH1’s Morning Buzz, AMC’s Date Night as well as on NBC’s “Last Comic Standing” where he not only earned a spot in the semi-finals, but was also featured in a montage of comics recognized for having highly original material. He also played the lead in the espn.com comedic web series “Team Players,” and has been seen in many commercials including Pepsi Max, Asthma.com, Joe’s Crab Shack, Carmax and starred in an e*Trade spot during halftime of the Super Bowl!

Kate Wolff is a stand-up comedienne and host who has no shame when it comes to talking about her experiences on being a single mother, her divorce, and what is what like being a teacher. She was a cast member on Tru Tv's hit TV series, "World's Dumbest", and was just on this season's of NickMom's Night Out on Nickelodeon, and has been profiled on Rooftop Comedy. She performs almost every night at clubs throughout Manhattan, and is a regular at New York Comedy Club, Broadway Comedy Club, Stand Up New York, and Laughing Devil Comedy Club.
