Writer of immigrant life travels and contributor to Portuguese-American literature, PaulA Neves will start off this year’s Centenary College Creative Writing Speaker Series with a poetry reading at the President’s Circle Room in the David and Carol Lackland Center. Members of the community, as well as Centenary students, faculty and staff are invited to attend. The evening will begin with Neves’ reading, encompassing the general focus of her work; the working class immigrant, travel, and first generation American experience. There will be a question and answer period around 8:15 p.m. after the reading. (from )
