The National Arts Club and its Office of Fine Arts present, ‘Charles James: Beneath the Dress.’ The mixed media exhibition features 60 of James’ fashion and erotic drawings from the collection of R. Couri Hay, which have never been seen in public before.

A film utilizing 20 hours of rare footage from Perich and Hay’s 1970’s interviews with James will also be screened on the hour throughout the exhibitions run. Additionally a selection of vintage photographs taken by Perich of James in The Chelsea Hotel will be displayed.
