"Celebrate New Jersey" Lecture

from April Kirchdoerffer

Join the Museum of Early Trades and Crafts on Sunday, November 16th at 2:00 PM for a lecture on the many fascinating faces of the Garden State.

Speaker Linda Barth, a life-long resident of the Garden State, is a trustee of Celebrate New Jersey!, a grassroots movement that builds pride and fosters a brighter future for New Jersey through educational programs and public initiatives. The Museum of Early Trades and Crafts' "Celebrate New Jersey" public program welcomes Barth as she explores the Garden State's diverse physical and cultural geography. Learn what makes New Jersey such an interesting state with its own very fascinating cast of characters: from General George Washington leading his troops across the Delaware River, to the many inventions out of Thomas Edison's laboratory, to the famous firsts like baseball and drive-in movies, to the battleship New Jersey and the Pine Barrens... Barth explores the famous and not-so-famous people, places, and events of our great little state.

$7 Admission for non-members & $5 Admission for members (includes admission to the Museum).

Space is limited. Pre-registration is highly recommended, call 973-377-2982.
