Brief Description:
The 5th Annual Francis Marion Dirt Dash Half Marathon and 12k (7.5 miles) run takes place in the Francis Marion National Forest. Participants will gather at the Sewee Visitors Center prior to entering the forest. 
Technical fabric shirts for all participants and medals for all half marathon finishers.
A portion of the proceeds from the Half Marathon help support the Mount Pleasant Fire Department's Wildland Firefighting Program. A portion of the proceeds from the 12k event will be donated to the MUSC Hollings Cancer Center for cancer research in honor of Renee' Thomas, Ruth Ives and Lyle Wheatley. 
 
 Packet Pickup!
Francis Marion Dirt Dash packet pick up is at Trysports! Hours for race packet pickup are from 4-8 PM on Thursday August 28th and Friday August 29th from 12 noon until 6PM. Trysports is located next to Atlanta Bread in the Towne Center. The address is
1708 Towne Center Way, Mount Pleasant, SC 29464
